ABOUT US

Hackney Vineyard started in 2015 in Dave and Rowena's living room with a small but committed group of people who had been commissioned from Highway Vineyard church in Stratford. We moved into the Pembury Centre in 2016 and it is still our home for Sunday worship.

 

Dave and Rowena Crisp are the Senior Pastors. Rowena is also the founder and Director of Alongside You an East London based children's charity helping families affected by HIV.

OUR VISION

We have three key words/phrases which summarise our aims as a group of God’s people

ENCOUNTER

We want people to have a real encounter with Jesus Christ and enable others to do so too. To meet Him by His Spirit, through His Word and through fellowship with His people.

KNOWN

We want to be known in the community for our love and service, for our kindness, hospitality and generosity.

TAKE YOUR PLACE

We want people to take their God given place in their families, workplace, community, and in the church. To be all that God has called them to be and fulfil their calling in every area of life.
